Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Townies are all welcome. I am an incoming student to UIUC next year.I got a 4 on both the AP Physics 1 and 2 exams. I by no means want a career in horticulture or meteorology, but hort 105 and atms 120 are pretty interesting in addition to being generally easy. This subreddit is for anyone/anything related to UIUC. some of the easiest classes unrelated to my major have been some of the most interesting I have taken though.

Then as you do this mark off concepts you feel you have thoroughly ingrained in your intuition which you can tell because you'll start to get those questions correct.
Write the notes as if you're talking to a person, and explain concepts as simply as you can so that almost anyone could get it. When you go through the tests and hit any spot you're even just a little unsure, write down the concept and look it up and write detailed notes on it. Not necessarily all the tests because you neither have that kind of life and as you go back in test years the test style changes and becomes irrelevant. I also got a perfect score on my first test in 102 by doing previous exams and all the practice problems given. There are many exams that allow an incoming student to try to earn. Need a certain GPA to get into grad school and wondering how hard physics 101 and 102 is here at UIUC compared to the gen chem series. Whether it's graduate school or industry you're keen on post-graduation, the department sets you up well for success. The curriculum is well designed and there's active research at the university about what the best way to teach physics is.
